President
Soukaina Sourouri, Esq. is currently a solo practitioner managing her own general practice firm. Ms. Sourouri predominately focuses on Family Law in Richmond County. She is a member of the 18B Panel in Richmond County Family Court as well as a member of the Part 36 Attorneys for Children Panel. She is the former court attorney for Family Court Judge Janet L. McFarland. She graduated from CUNY Law School in 2020. While attending law school at night, she worked for the Law Office of Rosa Pannitto, P.C. After graduation, she worked for the law firm of Glenn Yost prior to becoming a court attorney. She serves as the President of Staten Island’s Woman’s Bar Association.
Ms. Sourouri is also a Member of the Richmond County Bar Association, Staten Island Trial Lawyers, and Columbian Lawyers of Brooklyn. Since 2017, she has been a volunteer at CUNY! Citizenship Now assisting in legal screenings for green card holders applying for citizenship. Part of her goals are to continue to serve the Staten Island community.
Paula Bondad, Esq.

Paula B. Bondad, Esq. is the court attorney to the Hon. Janet L. McFarland in Richmond County Family Court.
Paula began her legal career in 2015 as an Agency Attorney for Family Court Legal Services (“FCLS”), representing the Commissioner of the New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services in child abuse and neglect proceedings in Bronx Family Court. In 2018, she worked briefly for The Children’s Law Center, representing children in custody, visitation, and family offense proceedings in Brooklyn Family Court. In 2019, Paula returned to FCLS as an Agency Attorney Team Leader in Staten Island before entering the court system in 2023.
Paula received her Juris Doctor from the City University of New York’s School of Law in 2015. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University in 2010.
Grace S. Chamoun Taranto, Esq.
2nd Vice President
Grace Chamoun Taranto concentrates her practice on matrimonial and family law at Blank Rome LLP. She has experience representing clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, visitation, support, equitable distribution, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, family offenses, domestic violence, orders of protection, and even international child abduction cases. She has experience litigating matters in New York Supreme and Family Courts throughout New York City
Grace previously held positions as a law clerk, paralegal, and intern at numerous New York-based law firms. She was a student prosecutor for the Eastern District of New York Prosecutor’s Office, intern for former Magistrate Judge Andrew Peck of the Southern District of New York, and a research assistant for several law professors. In addition, she held children advocacy roles at two non-governmental organizations based out of the United Nations - the World Lebanese Cultural Union and Pax Romana.
Despite her concentration and family law, Grace graduated from Brooklyn law school with a fellowship from the Dennis J. Block Center’s International Business Law Fellowship. She also served as the vice president of the Moot Court Honor Society’s Appellate Division and articles editor of the Journal of Law and Policy.
Grace serves as the Second Vice President of the Staten Island women’s Bar Association, director and member of the Richmond County Bar Association, member of the RCBA’s diversity committee, and member of the New York Women’s Bar Association and the New York county Bar Association.
Above all, Grace is a wife and mother of two.

Jenna M. Canciglia, Esq.

Jenna M. Canciglia, Esq. is currently a Senior Attorney with Mental Hygiene Legal Service. She is the former associate attorney specializing in Elder Law and Article 81 guardianships. Ms. Canciglia earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2018, during which time she was a Trust and Estates Fellow for the Honorable Robert J. Gigante. She received a Bachelor of Arts from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She serves as the corresponding secretary for Staten Island’s Woman’s Bar Association and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Richmond County Bar Association, and Columbian Lawyers of Brooklyn. Jenna enjoys spending time with family and friends and coaching competitive high school cheerleading.
Stephanie DiLorenzo, Esq.

Stephanie DiLorenzo is a newly admitted attorney to the New York State Bar. At St. John’s University, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics and was awarded the “Golden Key” award for having the highest GPA in her major. Following graduation, Stephanie continued her studies and pursued her law degree at New York Law School. Currently, Stephanie works for Nationwide Mutual Insurance company, where she negotiates and mediates claim settlements for multimillion-dollar companies across the country. In her free time, she enjoys cooking Italian food, baking, and dancing.
