Betsey Jean-Jacques, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Mental Hygiene Legal Service, Appellate Division Second Department since 2007. She represents adults and children in in-patient psychiatric facilities. She sits on the board of the Staten Island Women’s Bar Association and is in her second term as WBASNY Director. She is currently the Co-Chairperson of the Diversity Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. Ms. Jean-Jacques obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Masters in Social Work (M.S.W.) from Syracuse University College of Law in 2006. She received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Fordham University in 2002. Ms. Jean-Jacques is also a member of Catholic Lawyers Association-Kings County and Columbian Lawyers Association of Kings County. She is a resident of Brooklyn, NY.
